Mold manufacturing is the focus of silicone mold products

The manufacture of the mould must pass through several processes such as forging, cutting, heat treatment and so on. In order to ensure the quality of mold manufacturing, reduce the production cost, the materials should have good ductility and machinability, hardenability and hardenability and grindability; should have oxidation, decarburization sensitivity and quenching cracking tendency of small deformation.
1, can be forged
It has low thermal deformation resistance, good plasticity, wide forging temperature range, low cold cracking and net carbide tendency.
2 craft
The spheroidizing annealing temperature range is wide, the annealing hardness is low, the fluctuation range is small, and the spheroidization rate is high.
3, cutting processing
The cutting parameters are low, and the surface roughness is low.
4, oxidation and decarburization sensitivity
When heated to high temperature oxidation with good decarburization rate is slow, not sensitive to the heating medium, produce pitting tendency.
5, quenching
Uniform and high surface hardness after quenching.
6, quenching
After quenching, the deeper hardening layer can be obtained, and the quenching medium can be hardened.
7, quenching deformation cracking tendency
The conventional quenching has small volume change, slight warpage and distortion, and low abnormal deformation. The sensitivity of conventional quenching is low, and it is not sensitive to quenching temperature and workpiece shape.
8, grinding
The wheel is relatively small loss, no limit of grinding burn of large amount, is not sensitive to the quality of the grinding wheel and the cooling conditions, not prone to abrasion and grinding crack.
